Where do I start?
The first step is to determine which of the following categories applies to you:  

Category I 
Currently enrolled degree-seeking students with 45 or more cumulative credit hours and currently enrolled certificate seeking students with 15 or more cumulative credit hours. Students who plan to graduate must complete an application for graduation by the published date. 

Category II
Any currently enrolled students regardless of their number of credit hours.

Category III
All other students - new students, returning students, transfer students, or any individual wishing to attend Jefferson College in the coming semester.

Currently enrolled student: May register online through STARS or registration forms may be picked up at the Student Center Building, academic offices (Arts & Sciences 110 or Career Education 101), Jefferson College-Arnold , or Jefferson College-Northwest.  You may also use the form in the back of the printed class schedule or or it can be printed from online.

 Returning students who have not attended for one or more years will need to update their file. The admissions record is updated automatically if using a paper form to register.  If registering online, an electronic application available online must be submitted before registration can occur.  You must provide a valid e-mail address when applying online.  Watch this website for upcoming registration dates.

New freshman:  It is important that students new to the college experience complete the following steps: 
     1) Complete an Application for Admission at any Jefferson College location or online.  There is a one-time $20 application fee.  The Application is also available in the back of the printed class schedule.  Upon acceptance, you will receive detailed enrollment information. 
     2) Complete the Registration process which consists of meeting with an academic advisor to complete the Advisor Checklist, which provides essential information to get new students off to a good start.  Call for an appointment:  636-797-3000, extension 209.
     3) New students may also want to get a College ID (bring photo ID), obtain a parking pass, purchase textbooks, and apply for financial aid.

Transfer students:  Complete your application for Admission in the Office of Admissions or online.  The Application is also available in the back of the class schedule.  If you apply online, you must pay the $20 application fee and complete the acceptance process before you may register online.  Be aware, it may take at least five business days to complete the acceptance process.  Upon acceptance, you will receive detailed enrollment information.
